The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have devastated communities, claiming lives, destroying homes, and leaving many without shelter. We are heartbroken for our city, especially for vulnerable, undocumented individuals, many of whom have lost everything. Some of our own team members have been directly impacted.
Clínica Romero is launching the “Together, We Rebuild, Together We Heal” Relief Fund. This initiative is about coming together to provide immediate support to those most in need, including underserved workers like cooks, landscapers, and domestic workers. Many of those we serve at Clínica Romero—undocumented immigrants, those living in poverty, and the unhoused—are excluded from emergency relief funds.
To make a bigger impact, Clínica Romero will match all donations up to $10,000. We ask you to join us in reaching our goal by January 21st. Every donation counts, and together, we can make a difference.
Right now, the most effective way to support those in need is through financial assistance, as many are currently staying in temporary accommodation and don't have the space to manage extra items.
